A Word About My “Sponsor”
Jan 28th, 2009 by maat45
Mentor, sponsor and host of this and my other blog (among many blogs of others!). Before I get started, how do you like the new look? Took me a little by surprise but it is more attractive while still as simple as I like (I've always preferred understatement in pretty much all aspects of my life...well, with the possible exception of my opinions and principles...lol), and still has the coffee cup theme. Yaaaayyyyy! And I cannot take any credit for it whatsoever. Wolfbernz, Trina and, I'm not sure but maybe 'the gang' over at Blogdumps deserve all of it. They host my blogs and I have to tell you, if you are considering a blog of your own you couldn't do any better than with Blogdumps. They are good people so this is a good time and opportunity to thank them for their generosity of spirit, work they put in and the help they are always so willing to provide. They make things so hassle-free. This is my first blog...had never done anything like it before although I had checked out some of the other hosts around for a year or so before deciding to just jump in. It was easy to set up despite the fact that I had a few hiccups but...that's me. I'll unbutton my CPU, install hardware, sit for hours when necessary to find a glitch in programmes etc. and then...get very nervous about code. I don't know what I'm doing in that area so I when I find something, do it and it works, tend to leave it alone. You know the old adage...if ain't broke, don't fix it! That would be my credo. Some things I managed to do with the ever available advice from Blogdumps, others I left alone. Like a button I tried to put on there a couple of weeks ago. The "I Took The Vow" button. The text and link was there, pic not and when I saw that I said to myself "Self...not important. You have the link...leave well enough alone!" I was disappointed...mostly in myself but, there you have it. At some point I have to take the plunge and learn to do these things myself...or at least not be wary or scared to try it but I saw they did it and am so appreciative! I was so tickled I couldn't stand myself for a few hours...lol. Even better...a friend sent the video now seen in my previous blog post. I can't do that! (Well, maybe I could if I would bring my head out of the sand and quit panicking...) but I did want to post it for those interested to see. I just put in the hyper-link, made sure it worked and that was that. But if you visit Blogdumps you can see Wolfbernz and Trina get videos up there, they work perfectly, looks really good. I envied them!
Anyway...I am really impressed with my new look, the make-over. (Wonder if they could do as much for me?) and though I have taken other opportunities, I do want to thank them so much for everything they do for us bloggers. Best way I know how is to highly recommend using them. Not only do they put in a lot of work for their bloggers but they put in as much heart and help. You have something to say? (And we ALL have something to say about something) get a blog. They do not exaggerate when they say you can have it up and running in minutes. You'll have fun, an outlet for whatever is happening in your world that you don't mind sharing with the globe. Just be warned...it can get addictive. (While you are at it, please check out www.wrongblog.com , trina.blogdumps.net , and I should give you the link to the blogging host site; www.blogdumps.com )
So, Trina...Wolfbernz...thank you so much, again and again. You make this a very happy place to be.

Love the new look, Maat! Super!
Cool, huh,? As I said, I take absolutely no credit whatsoever…I’m just very lucky with my host service. Hey, thanks for looking in, Ruby…catch you, soon!
I love it, so clean and pretty. Really nice! Don’t be afraid the codes are not so bad, if I can learn them anyone can!
Love and Blessings,
AngelBaby
